If you’re reading this, it’s not too late to repair and regrow your hair. You’re like me, you’ve seen a decline in density of your hair over the years and no one has been able to explain why. 1. Iron Deficiency
Symptoms include hair loss, extreme fatigue, weakness, pale skin, Syncope (fainting), chest pain, fast heartbeat or shortness of breath, headache, dizziness or lightheadedness, cold hands and feet, inflammation or soreness of your tongue, brittle nails, heavy periods, hormonal imbalances, air hunger, insomnia, vertigo, depression, anxiety, blurred vision, unusual cravings for non-nutritive substances, such as ice, dirt or starch, poor appetite, especially in infants and children with iron deficiency anemia, memory loss.

2. B12 or B9 (folate) Deficiency
Symptoms Include hair Loss, extreme fatigue, a lack of energy, Paraesthesia or pins and needles *feeling in hands in feet especially, a sore and red tongue, mouth ulcers, muscle weakness, disturbed vision, psychological problems, which may include depression and confusion, problems with memory, understanding and judgement, air hunger, sleep disturbances. B12 & Folate work together in a biochemical process with iron to create healthy red blood cells. If your red blood cell count is low then so is your hemoglobin. Which could result in the necessity of a blood transfusion. All can be avoided with a healthy diet and the correct vitamin supplementation.
3. Riboflavin
Riboflavin deficiency can cause hair loss, fatigue, swollen throat, blurred vision, and depression. It can affect the skin by causing skin crack, itching, and dermatitis around the mouth. Hyperemia and edema around the throat, liver degeneration, and hair loss can also occur along with reproductive issues.
4. Biotin (B7) Deficiency
Thinning hair, scaly skin rashes around eyes, nose, mouth and anus and brittle nails.
5. Vitamin D Deficiency

9. Potassium (Hypokalemia)
Symptoms include hair loss, constipation, heart palpitations, fatigue, muscle weakness and spasms, tingling and numbness.
10. Vitamin C Deficiency
